Nominations for Salute to Family Awards due Feb. 28
 Nominations for the Alice M. Ross "Salute to Family" Awards are due no later than Feb. 28, 2009.
The annual award honors families who have made a difference, whether it be at home in their care for their own family or by bettering their community.

Any member of the community may nominate a family they admire, and families may nominate themselves. Families must live in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Marion or Morgan County to be eligible. Winning families will be selected to receive the award, and winning families will receive their honors at an awards breakfast on April 22, 2009 at the Riverwalk.
Nominated families can include: two-parent and single-parent families, stepfamilies, multigenerational, blended, traditional, non-traditional, foster or adoptive.
Nominations must be submitted online, faxed or postmarked by Feb. 28, 2009. Read more...
Salute to Family Awards Breakfast - April 22
Winners of this year's award will receive their honors at the "Salute to Family" Awards Breakfast on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Riverwalk - 6729 E. Westfield Blvd; Indianapolis, IN 46220. The event will begin at 8 a.m.
 Senior Vice President Carolyn Langan re-elected as President of the Board for Addiction Resource Network
Family Service Senior Vice President Carolyn Langan has been re-elected as President of the Board of Directors of the Addiction Resource Network of Indianapolis (ARNI). The network is comprised of four member agencies, and three subcontracting agencies located across Indiana, and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of leadership from the member agencies and two members of the Indiana business community. ARNI was incorporated in the State of Indiana in 1995 as a not-for-profit organization that specializes in the treatment of addictive disease.
